OUR MISSION

Duffels of Dignity is about humanity, dignity, and empathy. D.o.D is about bringing a little comfort to the unfortunate, the downtrodden, the homeless of Los Angeles. Through our collective efforts, we will gather and distribute some basic necessities for those without a roof over their heads. We will also provide useful information about resources for the unhoused residents of Los Angeles. We intend to make a meaningful difference in the lives of homeless individuals in our community and foster hope and dignity, one bag at a time.

How You Can Help

Generous people and communities who value compassion, dignity, and direct action are the reason Duffels of Dignity flourishes. You can truly make a difference, regardless of whether you can provide your time, money, or connections.

Join Forces With Us

Communities are strengthened through collaboration.

We would love to work with your local company, school, nonprofit, or religious organization. Through partnerships, we can increase our reach and create a more robust support system for the homeless population in Los Angeles.

Offer to help

The gift of your time has the power to transform lives.

Our volunteers are the backbone of Duffels of Dignity, helping to put together duffels and distribute them throughout Los Angeles. We regularly organize events where you may get your hands dirty and have a direct influence.

Come pack duffels with us in an enjoyable, cooperative setting. Just bring your hands and your heart, and we'll take care of the rest, including the supplies and instructions!

On days of distribution, you can assit us in delivering duffels to homeless people, shelters, and encampments throughout the city. For assistance and safety, volunteers are grouped.

Donate

Assist us in filling more hearts and bags.

Each duffel bag we provide is stocked with thoughtfully selected necessities that can help someone without a place to live live a slightly safer and more respectable existence. No matter how small your donation is, it helps us buy:

  • toothbrushes, toothpastes, deodorants, wipes, and other hygiene supplies

  • Socks, gloves, and weather-appropriate clothes

  • Supplies for first aid

  • Water and non-perishable snacks

  • Reusable bags and blankets

About Us

Our names are Nicole Soroudi, Jessica Naghi, and Mielle Bolour

Duffels of Dignity was founded by three lifelong friends, Nicole, Jessica, and Mielle, driven by a shared sense of compassion and a deep-rooted desire to serve the most vulnerable members of our Los Angeles community.

As a community-based project based on compassion and service, we founded Duffels of Dignity. Our goal is to help homeless people regain their dignity and receive useful assistance by assembling and distributing duffel bags packed with necessities, including food, clothing, and hygiene products.

Nicole and Mielle lead practical outreach and coordinate community projects, turning our ideas into action, while Jessica, who hopes to practice law and is a social justice activist, spearheads structural change. Our team believes even small acts of compassion can create a big impact.

We appreciate you joining us in changing the world, one bag, one person, and one act of dignity at a time, whether your goal is to give, volunteer, or learn.
